Salesforce & Business Systems Engineer

About this role

Betterment seeks a Salesforce & Business Systems Engineer to serve as a strategic partner to its go-to-market teams, designing and managing scalable system solutions that drive business growth. This role combines technical Salesforce expertise with a consultative approach to translate complex business problems into effective processes and integrations.

What you'll do

• Act as a consultant to B2B stakeholders, identifying patterns and recommending scalable system solutions
• Manage and audit integrations across core business systems to ensure accurate workflows
• Translate business requirements into system designs and implementations with stakeholders
• Provide Salesforce administration support including user access, profiles, permissions, and maintenance
• Create documentation, best practices, and enablement materials for system adoption
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and data workflows to support decision-making

• Salesforce administration and configuration
• Salesforce declarative development (Flow, Lightning App Builder)
• B2B/SaaS business systems experience
• Cross-functional stakeholder engagement and influence
• System integration design and data flow management
• Marketing automation tools (HubSpot preferred)
• Data literacy and analysis
• Apex programming and Visualforce (preferred)

Benefits

• Hybrid work arrangement (4 days/week in NYC office, no required days during summer/winter holidays)
• Base salary: $125,000-$145,000
