Forward Deployed Engineer

About this role

A fintech startup building a stablecoin clearinghouse is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to serve as the bridge between customers and product development. You'll own integration lifecycles with financial partners, translate customer needs into product decisions, and build tools that make integrations seamless in this early-stage, well-funded venture.

What you'll do

• Manage full integration lifecycle with customers—from design through implementation, testing, and launch
• Translate customer requests into actionable product feedback that shapes roadmap priorities
• Design and build SDKs, tooling, and documentation for smooth customer integrations
• Debug production issues across system boundaries as first responder
• Act as connective tissue between customers and internal product teams

What they're looking for

• 3+ years building payment or financial infrastructure integrations
• API integration experience from customer perspective
• Excellent cross-functional communication and translation
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and taking ownership
• Stablecoin/blockchain experience (preferred)
• Problem-solving across distributed systems
• Technical documentation and SDK development
