About this role
Lead security strategy and execution for a cryptocurrency/stablecoin payments startup in NYC. You'll establish and scale security across code, infrastructure, and operations while building compliance frameworks for a regulated financial environment.
What you'll do
- Own application, infrastructure, and operational security posture
- Conduct code reviews, threat modeling, and penetration testing
- Design security controls, monitoring, and incident response processes
- Build and implement compliance frameworks (SOC 2, PCI-DSS, money transmission regulations)
- Develop and ship internal security tools and features
- Hire and manage security specialists as the team grows
