About this role
BeyondTrust seeks a Solutions Engineer to serve as the technical specialist in the sales cycle, delivering product demonstrations, managing proofs of concept, and collaborating with sales teams to close deals for their cybersecurity SaaS platform. You'll guide prospects through discovery, validate technical requirements, and showcase how BeyondTrust solutions address business challenges.
What you'll do
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and manage proofs of concept for prospects
- Support marketing campaigns including webinars and technical presentations
- Qualify leads by validating technical environments and understanding business problems
- Participate in RFP/RFI responses and proposal development
- Secure technical wins by demonstrating solution value and alignment with customer needs
- Engage in discovery conversations to understand prospect infrastructure and pain points
What they're looking for
- 3+ years technical support or help desk experience
- Knowledge of server infrastructure, virtualization, and directory systems
- Understanding of operating systems and network topologies
- Cybersecurity concepts and principles
- Technical assessment and solution proposal abilities
- Presentation and public speaking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
