Software Engineering Intern

About this role

BillionToOne, a Nasdaq-listed genomics company, seeks a Software Engineering Intern to contribute to healthcare technology projects including portal enhancements and AI-driven services. You'll work with experienced engineers and computational biologists on a full-time hybrid basis (2-3 days/week onsite in Menlo Park) for 10-12 weeks during summer.

What you'll do

• Write clean, well-documented code following team standards
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Create and maintain comprehensive test suites
• Contribute to technical documentation
• Present projects and findings to the team
• Develop features for provider and patient portals or AI-backed services

• Python programming
• SQL and database concepts
• Web development fundamentals

• Written and verbal communication
