About this role
BitGo seeks a Senior Application Security Engineer to lead product security strategy for their digital asset custody and trading platforms. You'll design and implement end-to-end security programs, integrate automated controls into development pipelines, and secure cloud infrastructure protecting high-value cryptocurrency transactions and institutional clients.
What you'll do
- Lead threat modeling and security architecture reviews with engineering teams
- Integrate SAST, DAST, and vulnerability management tools into CI/CD pipelines
- Design secure AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code
- Implement encryption, key management systems, and data protection controls
- Oversee bug bounty programs, incident response, and penetration testing
- Secure AI/ML applications with input validation and LLM guardrails
