Android Software Engineer

About this role

BJAK, Southeast Asia's largest digital insurance platform, seeks Android engineers to build AI-powered mobile applications for insurance and financial services. You'll develop production-grade apps using Kotlin, integrate backend systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid Malaysia-based role.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain production Android applications using Kotlin and Android Jetpack
• Design responsive mobile interfaces for insurance, payments, and customer workflows
• Integrate backend APIs for quotations, policies, claims, and transactions
• Optimize app performance, battery usage, and memory efficiency across devices
• Implement analytics and crash reporting to improve product quality
• Collaborate with backend, product, design, and AI/ML teams on feature development

• Kotlin and Java programming
