DevOps Engineer

About this role

BJAK, Southeast Asia's largest insurance platform, seeks a DevOps Engineer to design and operate cloud infrastructure supporting reliable, secure deployments at scale. You'll own CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, and production systems while collaborating with engineering teams to enable fast-moving product development.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows
• Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters across major cloud providers
• Provision infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
• Troubleshoot production issues including performance, errors, and networking
• Enforce security best practices including secrets management and network policies

• Linux and shell scripting
• Docker and Kubernetes
• AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms
• CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation)
• Bash or Python scripting
• Networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing)
• Production debugging and troubleshooting
