Frontend Engineer - Checkout & Renewals (Remote, China)

About this role

BJAK seeks a Frontend Engineer in China to build high-performance web applications for insurance checkout, payments, and policy renewals. You'll develop conversion-optimized customer interfaces using React, Next.js, and TypeScript while collaborating remotely with Malaysia-based teams.

What you'll do

• Build modern web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript for checkout and renewal flows
• Develop and optimize multi-step transactional flows including pricing, validation, payment and confirmation
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs, payment systems and policy services
• Collaborate with designers to implement responsive, high-quality user interfaces
• Optimize checkout performance, conversion rates and user experience across devices
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend architecture standards
