Frontend Engineer - Customer Platform (Remote, China)

About this role

BJAK, a leading Southeast Asian digital insurance platform, is hiring a Frontend Engineer to build modern web applications powering their customer platform. You'll work remotely from China, collaborating with Malaysia-based teams to create fast, intuitive interfaces for insurance discovery, purchase, and management.

What you'll do

• Build production web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Develop customer-facing features including product discovery, quotations, and policy management
• Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, high-quality interfaces
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability and user experience
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend architecture standards
