Full Stack Engineer, AI systems

About this role

A1 is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to build production-grade AI workflows that move beyond chat into reliable, multi-step task completion. You'll design agent systems that handle planning, tool integration, failure recovery, and real-time interactions while collaborating across frontend, backend, and ML teams.

What you'll do

• Build end-to-end product features spanning frontend, backend, and AI system integration
• Design and implement agent workflows with multi-step reasoning, tool use, and failure recovery mechanisms
• Integrate LLMs, memory systems, and external tools into reliable production systems
• Optimize real-time AI interactions for streaming, low latency, and consistent output quality
• Improve system observability, reliability, and fallback handling for LLM and tool failures
• Drive features from concept through production with ownership and rapid iteration
