iOS Software Engineer

About this role

A1 is seeking an iOS Software Engineer to build a production-grade iOS client for an AI-powered smart assistant. You'll own the complete iOS experience, designing intuitive AI interactions while ensuring performance, reliability, and user trust across conversations, errands, and workflow automation.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI
• Integrate AI features through backend APIs and handle streaming responses with proper loading states and fallbacks
• Design UX patterns that account for latency, partial failures, and non-deterministic AI behavior
• Optimize performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency on mobile devices
• Collect user signals and feedback to support AI evaluation and product iteration
• Collaborate with backend and ML engineers on API design and maintain App Store quality standards
