iOS Software Engineer

About this role

A1 seeks an iOS engineer to build a production-grade mobile client for an AI assistant that handles complex workflows and real-world task completion. You'll own the iOS experience—designing AI interaction patterns, optimizing performance, and ensuring reliability while collaborating closely with backend and ML teams.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain iOS applications in Swift and SwiftUI
• Integrate AI-powered backend APIs and design UX patterns for streaming responses and error handling
• Optimize performance, memory, and battery efficiency on iOS devices
• Capture user signals and feedback to support AI evaluation and iteration
• Collaborate with backend and ML engineers on API design and system behavior
• Maintain App Store quality, stability, and production reliability with monitoring and root-cause analysis
