iOS Software Engineer

About this role

BJAK, Southeast Asia's largest digital insurance platform, seeks an iOS engineer to build and maintain Swift-based mobile applications for insurance and financial services. You'll develop AI-integrated features, optimize performance, and collaborate with global teams in a fully remote role.

What you'll do

• Build production-grade iOS apps using Swift and SwiftUI with focus on insurance and payments workflows
• Design and integrate backend APIs for quotations, policy management, claims, and transactional services
• Develop mobile features incorporating AI-assisted capabilities like chat, recommendations, and automation
• Optimize app performance, memory usage, battery efficiency, and responsiveness across devices
• Implement analytics, crash reporting, and user behavior tracking for quality improvements
• Collaborate with backend, product, design, and AI/ML teams throughout development lifecycle

What they're looking for

• Swift and SwiftUI development (3+ years iOS experience)
• iOS architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, or modern equivalents)
• Async/await and Swift Concurrency
• RESTful API integration and distributed systems
• Performance debugging and optimization (memory, CPU, battery)
• App Store deployment and production release management
• Analytics and crash reporting tools
• AI feature integration (chat, recommendations, automation workflows)
