iOS Software Engineer

About this role

A1 is seeking an iOS Software Engineer to build a production-grade iOS application for an AI-powered smart assistant. You'll own the full iOS client experience, designing intuitive AI interactions while ensuring reliability, performance, and user trust in a small, high-impact team.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI
• Integrate AI features through backend APIs and handle streaming responses with appropriate UX patterns
• Optimize performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency
• Design UX patterns for AI interactions including loading states, retries, and fallbacks
• Collaborate with backend and ML engineers on API design and system behavior
• Capture user signals and feedback to support AI evaluation and iteration
