React Frontend Engineer - Claims & Policy Automation (China, Remote)

About this role

BJAK seeks a React Frontend Engineer to build intuitive web applications for insurance claims and policy automation. You'll create customer-facing and internal tools that visualize complex workflows, working remotely from China while collaborating with Malaysia-based teams on AI-powered insurance systems.

What you'll do

• Build modern web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript for claims processing and policy workflows
• Develop responsive, high-performance interfaces that visualize insurance processes like claims status and policy lifecycle tracking
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and workflow orchestration systems
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers throughout the development lifecycle
• Optimize applications for speed, reliability, and scalability while maintaining code quality through reviews
• Handle complex state management and multi-step workflows with attention to edge cases and data accuracy
