Software QA Engineer - Policy & Claims Automation (Remote, China)

About this role

BJAK is seeking a QA Engineer in China to validate AI-powered insurance automation systems covering policy issuance, claims processing, and related workflows. You'll design comprehensive test strategies, build test coverage across web/API/backend systems, and collaborate with Malaysia-based teams to prevent defects and ensure production reliability for complex multi-step insurance processes.

What you'll do

• Design and execute test strategies for policy and claims automation systems
• Build and maintain test coverage across web, API, and backend workflow systems
• Validate end-to-end insurance processes including policy creation, updates, and claims resolution
• Identify edge cases, workflow gaps, and failure scenarios in complex business logic
• Track, document and report bugs with clear reproduction steps and business impact analysis
• Improve regression testing coverage and collaborate with engineers on feature validation
