Test Automation Engineer - API & Web (Remote, China)

About this role

BJAK seeks a Test Automation Engineer to build comprehensive automated testing coverage for API and web systems powering their AI-driven insurance automation platform. You'll ensure reliability across complex multi-step workflows including quotes, policy issuance, claims and payments while collaborating remotely with engineering teams based in Malaysia.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain automated test suites for APIs and web applications across insurance workflows
• Develop API-level validation tests for business logic and workflow transitions
• Build UI automation tests for customer-facing and internal systems using automation frameworks
• Expand regression testing coverage to reduce production defects and catch regressions early
• Identify edge cases, API failure scenarios and UI inconsistencies in complex workflows
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to validate features before release
