Test Automation Engineer - Customer Process Automation (Remote, China)

About this role

BJAK is hiring a Test Automation Engineer to build and maintain automated test suites for AI-powered insurance customer workflows. You'll design end-to-end test coverage for complex processes like quotes, policy issuance, renewals, and claims, working remotely from China while collaborating with Malaysia-based teams to ensure platform reliability and prevent customer-impacting issues.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain automated test suites for customer-facing web, API and workflow systems
• Design end-to-end test coverage for multi-step insurance customer journeys and process transitions
• Expand regression testing coverage to prevent production issues affecting customers
• Identify edge cases, failure scenarios and gaps in complex customer process flows
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to validate workflows before release
• Track and document bugs with clear reproduction steps and customer impact analysis

• QA automation and test engineering
• Web UI testing, API testing, and end-to-end workflow testing
• Automated testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium preferred)
• API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
• Multi-step business process and transactional system validation
• Strong attention to detail and edge case identification
• Clear communication for bug reporting and risk assessment
• Experience with CI/CD-integrated test pipelines (bonus)
