Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)

About this role

Blaxel seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with strategic customers deploying AI agent infrastructure in production. You'll bridge customer needs with product capabilities, owning technical discovery, implementation, debugging, and feedback loops that shape the platform roadmap.

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end technical discovery and deployment for strategic customer implementations
• Engage with customer stakeholders to understand architecture, constraints, and success criteria
• Build integrations using Blaxel APIs, SDKs, sandboxes, and CI/CD systems
• Debug agent deployments, networking behavior, and runtime issues in customer environments
• Translate customer learnings into actionable product and roadmap feedback
• Ensure customer success by improving workload reliability, performance, cost, and observability

• TypeScript/Node.js or Python
• Production backend or infrastructure engineering
• Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• APIs, networking fundamentals, and CI/CD systems
• AI agents, LLMs, and agentic frameworks
• Systems-level thinking across infrastructure and application logic
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• High ownership and pragmatic problem-solving in ambiguous contexts
