Founding Engineer - iOS & Swift (f/m/d)

About this role

Join Bliro as a Founding Engineer to own the iOS platform end-to-end, evolving their Swift/SwiftUI app from V1 to a scaled, production-grade product. You'll architect real-time audio pipelines, build AI-powered mobile experiences, and establish the technical standards that define the platform for years to come in a small, elite founding team.

What you'll do

• Own the iOS app architecture, performance, reliability, and release pipeline
• Evolve the existing Swift/SwiftUI codebase with improved architecture and reliability
• Implement robust audio pipelines, WebSocket connections, and background processing for transcription
• Design and build AI-powered interfaces for meeting summaries, workflows, and CRM integrations
• Establish testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and code quality practices
• Ship complex features end-to-end and make architectural decisions that scale

What they're looking for

• Swift and SwiftUI (3-5 years production experience)
• iOS platform APIs (concurrency, async/await, actors, networking, audio frameworks, app lifecycle)
• iOS app architecture and system design
• Code quality, testing, and CI/CD practices
• Real-time audio processing or WebSocket architectures (nice-to-have)
• Backend/full-stack development in Node.js, TypeScript, or MongoDB (nice-to-have)
• Performance profiling and app modularization
• Compliance and security (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR)
