Blissway, a lean 30-person startup revolutionizing highway toll collection and safety, seeks a recent graduate electrical engineer to own hardware development for critical interstate infrastructure. You'll design and optimize edge devices, write embedded code, and iterate on physical systems while working across a full-stack engineering environment.

What you'll do

  • Design circuit schematics and PCBs for new hardware integrations and sensor systems
  • Optimize reliability of cameras, detectors, and outdoor illuminators exposed to 24/7 conditions
  • Write embedded code in Python/C++ to integrate sensors and coordinate with backend servers
  • Develop and iterate on CAD models to improve assembly processes and robustness
  • Prototype and test hardware solutions for edge computing applications
  • Collaborate across teams to solve integration challenges in a lean startup environment
