Founding Forward Deployed Engineer

About this role

BLP Digital seeks a top-tier Forward Deployed Engineer to embed directly with enterprise customers, translating complex business problems into production AI automation solutions in days rather than months. You'll own the full technical stack—from architecture and integrations to LLM orchestration and deployment—working alongside senior consultants to deliver real-world impact for Fortune 500 companies using cutting-edge agentic AI.

What you'll do

• Engage directly with customers to understand workflows and underlying problems
• Design and architect end-to-end technical solutions including integrations and agent logic
• Build full-stack solutions using TypeScript backend, React frontend, and LLM orchestration
• Ship working software rapidly with tight feedback cycles from real users
• Make informed trade-offs between building, buying, or configuring solutions
• Own system reliability, observability, and continuous iteration post-deployment

What they're looking for

• Full-stack development (TypeScript backend, React frontend)
• LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and agent frameworks
• AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar)
• Enterprise integrations and legacy system connectivity
• Customer-facing communication and requirements gathering
• Fast prototyping and rapid iteration
• ERP domain knowledge (SAP, Dynamics, Oracle, NetSuite)
• English fluency; German is a plus
