About this role
Blue Energy seeks a Licensing Engineer to support the regulatory approval of innovative nuclear power plant designs. You'll work with the Regulatory Affairs Office on NRC engagements, licensing applications, and topical reports while collaborating across engineering teams.
What you'll do
- Support senior licensing engineers in executing Blue Energy's nuclear licensing strategy
- Develop written licensing products including technical reports and NRC responses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align regulatory requirements with engineering designs and timelines
- Interface with NRC and international regulatory bodies to address questions and manage information requests
- Participate in regulatory meetings, workshops, audits, and inspections representing Blue Energy
