Blue Current is seeking a Process Quality Engineer to build and implement robust quality systems within their rapidly evolving silicon solid-state battery development and manufacturing environment. This role will bridge the gap between lab research and manufacturing, ensuring high-quality data and processes are established across all operational scales. The ideal candidate will leverage their analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration abilities to drive continuous improvement and process stability.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality control (QC) test methods.
  • Lead root cause analyses to identify and eliminate process variations and prevent failures.
  • Define and monitor Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) attributes for battery components and processes.
  • Design and maintain data-collection and reporting systems to improve manufacturing visibility.
  • Assess the repeatability and reproducibility of developmental results.
  • Partner with suppliers to maintain and improve incoming material quality.
