Data Engineer (Azure) - Remote, Latin America

About this role

Bluelight seeks a Data Engineer to build and maintain ETL pipelines using Python and Azure Synapse Analytics for a growing consultancy. You'll collaborate with data scientists and analysts to deliver reliable analytical data supporting business intelligence across a distributed Latin American team.

What you'll do

• Design and develop ETL processes using Python (PySpark) and Azure Synapse Analytics
• Build and maintain data integration pipelines ensuring data accuracy and availability
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders on data requirements
• Support analytical reporting and business intelligence initiatives
• Optimize data workflows for performance and reliability
• Participate in code review and knowledge-sharing within the engineering team
