Cloud System Engineer, Secret Clearance

About this role

A cloud systems engineer position in Arlington, VA requiring Secret clearance to design and maintain multi-cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP/Azure, manage CI/CD pipelines, and lead DevOps automation initiatives while partnering with development teams.

What you'll do

• Design, test, and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines across AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Build and optimize deployment pipelines and strategies using popular CI/CD tools
• Lead infrastructure improvement initiatives and evaluate new technology stacks
• Partner with development teams and vendors on incident response and continuous delivery enablement
• Automate deployment processes, test environments, and operational workflows
• Contribute to documentation, code review processes, and application deployment configurations

• DevOps tooling and techniques
• Multi-cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, Azure, OpenStack)
• Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes required; Docker-Compose, Openshift, EKS, GKE, Docker Swarm)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt, Packer)
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Travis CI, GitLab CI)
• Linux systems administration (RedHat/CentOS, Debian/Ubuntu)
• Scripting and programming languages (Python, Java, Go, C#, JavaScript, Rust, Perl, Ruby, C/C++)
• Load balancing, networking, firewalls, and web server administration
