About this role

Blue Sky Innovators seeks a mid-to-senior engineer or scientist for part-time satellite software development supporting the Otter Program (DARPA/SETA). Starting at 25% effort with potential to scale to 50%, this on-site Arlington role requires a Secret clearance and expertise in satellite software testing and architecture evaluation.

What you'll do

• Develop and test ground and flight software for satellite systems
• Evaluate state-of-the-art software development practices for novel satellite architectures
• Support the Otter Program objectives and deliverables
• Collaborate on-site at client location in Arlington, VA
• Conduct assessments of software applications for satellite systems
• Participate in local and domestic travel as needed
