Onboard Infrastructure Engineer

About this role

Bot Auto seeks an Onboard Infrastructure Engineer to develop and optimize the core software systems powering autonomous trucks. You'll design sensor drivers, health management modules, and real-time infrastructure while ensuring efficient performance on embedded computing platforms.

What you'll do

• Design and implement onboard infrastructure modules including sensor drivers and health management systems
• Monitor system performance and create diagnostic, logging, and recovery tools for stable vehicle operations
• Optimize autonomous driving software deployment to embedded systems and onboard computing platforms
• Implement middleware and ROS core functionalities with focus on reducing latency
• Architect real-time data handling from sensors and computing hardware
• Ensure computing efficiency and software reliability in resource-constrained environments
