Software Engineer, Operation Platforms

About this role

Bot Auto is hiring a Software Engineer to build operational platforms that manage autonomous truck scheduling, dispatching, maintenance, and fleet optimization. You'll develop backend services and frontend tools that connect digital planning to real-world commercial freight operations, working alongside experienced engineers in a fast-paced startup environment.

What you'll do

• Build backend services and frontend tools for scheduling, dispatching, vehicle consoles, and fleet management systems
• Implement core workflow features like load planning, mission monitoring, and exception handling
• Design and consume APIs while integrating databases and event-driven systems
• Develop operator tools for dispatchers, technicians, and fleet managers with focus on usability
• Debug, test, and optimize system performance and reliability in production environments
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver well-scoped features
