Developer Relations Engineer

About this role

Box seeks a Developer Relations Engineer to drive awareness and adoption of its intelligent content management platform among developers. You'll create technical content, speak at conferences, build ecosystem integrations, and engage with developer communities to establish Box as the go-to solution for content-driven AI workflows.

What you'll do

• Produce technical content including blog posts, webinars, demo videos, and case studies from ideation through publication
• Deliver talks at developer and AI engineering conferences and own event strategy and relationship building
• Build extensions and plugins for popular AI libraries and frameworks and measure their impact
• Engage in developer communities to surface insights and convert presence into inbound interest
• Improve onboarding documentation and resources to reduce friction and drive conversions
• Partner with Product and GTM teams to translate community feedback into strategic improvements

What they're looking for

• Software engineering or developer relations experience
• Python or JavaScript proficiency
• Technical writing and public speaking
• Content creation and strategy
• AI/ML concepts (RAG, AI agents preferred)
• Community building and ecosystem engagement
• Data analysis and measurement
• Open source or AI application development experience (preferred)
