Mid-Market Solutions Engineer

About this role

Box seeks a Mid-Market Solutions Engineer in Chicago, NYC, or San Francisco to drive technical wins with enterprise clients by delivering compelling demonstrations of Box's AI-powered content management platform and shepherding customers through solution design and deployment.

What you'll do

• Identify and solve customer business problems through technical exploration and solution development
• Own the technical sales process and drive deals forward with extended team management
• Lead product demonstrations showcasing BoxAI, Shield, Relay, Sign, Governance, Canvas, and other solutions
• Serve as technical liaison between Sales and Product teams, gathering and sharing customer feedback
• Support field marketing events as a subject matter expert and presenter
• Travel up to 50% to engage with customers in territory

What they're looking for

• Pre-sales or solutions engineering in SaaS/enterprise software
• AI and LLM knowledge (embeddings, prompt engineering, automation concepts)
• Strong presentation and demo design skills
• Technical communication with diverse audiences
• API, webhook, and modern architecture familiarity (REST, OAuth, JSON, Python, Javascript)
• Low-code/no-code automation platforms (Nintex, Zapier, n8n)
• Product integration and technical architecture understanding
• Business acumen and solution selling
