About this role
Box seeks a Mid-Market Solutions Engineer to drive technical sales and customer success for their intelligent content management platform. You'll partner with sales teams to identify customer needs, deliver compelling product demonstrations, and guide deployments while serving as a bridge between customers and Box's product teams.
What you'll do
- Identify and solve customer business problems through research and iterative solution design
- Own the technical aspects of sales deals and drive them toward closure
- Deliver demos showcasing Box's full product suite including BoxAI, Shield, Sign, and Governance
- Manage technical teams and serve as solution quarterback for customer engagements
- Support field marketing events as a subject matter expert and presenter
- Travel up to 50% to meet with customers in territory
What they're looking for
- Solutions engineering or pre-sales experience in SaaS/enterprise software
- AI fluency including LLMs, embeddings, and prompt engineering concepts
- Strong presentation and storytelling abilities
- Technical communication for both technical and business audiences
- API, webhook, and modern architecture familiarity (REST, OAuth, JSON, Python, JavaScript)
- Low-code/no-code automation platforms (Nintex, Zapier, n8n)
- Product integration and technical architecture knowledge
- Business acumen and solution design thinking
