About this role
Box seeks a Solutions Engineer to drive SMB sales in the Central region from the Austin office. You'll partner with sales teams to identify customer needs, deliver technical presentations, and lead product demos while serving as a bridge between customers and Box's product team.
What you'll do
- Research and identify customer business problems to create tailored solutions
- Collaborate with Small Medium Business sales team to drive new revenue opportunities
- Lead technical discussions and product presentations to C-suite and IT stakeholders
- Conduct demos of Box suite offerings including AI, Web, Mobile, Relay, and Governance tools
- Develop expertise in cloud content management and Box platform capabilities
- Communicate customer feedback and feature requests to product management
What they're looking for
- 3+ years sales, technical, or customer-facing experience in SaaS/ECM
- Technical fluency with web technologies and APIs
- AI knowledge including LLMs, embeddings, and prompt engineering concepts
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value
- Strategic customer engagement and consultative selling
- Product presentation and demo skills
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Communication across technical and business audiences
