Open Source Engineer - Go

About this role

Braintrust seeks a Go engineer to build and maintain open-source SDKs that power AI observability and evaluation. You'll design idiomatic libraries, integrate with major AI providers, and work closely with users to ensure excellent developer experience across thousands of production applications.

What you'll do

• Design and implement elegant, performant Go SDKs for LLM evaluation and AI observability
• Integrate with AI providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini
• Prioritize developer experience through clean APIs, documentation, and error handling
• Build testing, profiling, and release automation tools
• Collaborate with backend, platform, and product teams on cohesive solutions
• Engage with community, gather feedback, and support user contributions
