Solutions Engineer, Security & Privacy

About this role

Braze seeks a Security & Privacy Solutions Engineer to serve as a client-facing technical expert bridging security compliance and sales acceleration. You'll own enterprise security questionnaires, lead pre-sales security discussions with prospects, and develop trust-building collateral while collaborating with internal security and legal teams.

What you'll do

• Manage and rapidly respond to technical security, privacy, and compliance questionnaires (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA, NIST) for enterprise prospects
• Serve as subject matter expert on pre-sales calls defending infrastructure, encryption, data handling, and compliance posture to CISOs and risk teams
• Build and maintain a scalable RFP/security knowledge repository that adapts to product changes and emerging threats
• Collaborate with internal Corporate Security, DevOps, Legal, and Engineering teams to translate technical architectures into customer-facing materials
• Develop self-service security packages, whitepapers, trust portals, and architectural diagrams to address security concerns proactively
• Manage multiple concurrent enterprise deals with strong organizational and attention to detail

• Data privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, PIPA, HIPAA)
• Cybersecurity compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST)
• Written and verbal communication with diplomacy and commercial awareness
• Identity management (SSO, SAML, OAuth) and data encryption
• Security certifications (CIPP/E, CIPP/US, Security+, CISA, CISSP preferred)
• MarTech and CDP/ESP/CRM ecosystem familiarity
