Solutions Engineer, Security & Privacy

About this role

Braze seeks a technically skilled Security & Privacy Solutions Engineer to serve as a strategic pre-sales resource who unblocks security concerns for enterprise customers. You'll manage complex compliance questionnaires, advise on security architecture during customer calls, and build trust-enabling collateral while partnering with internal security and engineering teams.

What you'll do

• Own and rapidly complete enterprise security questionnaires (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA, NIST) to maintain deal momentum
• Serve as subject matter expert during pre-sales calls defending infrastructure and compliance posture to prospects' security teams
• Build and maintain technical RFP/security knowledge repository that scales with product and threat landscape changes
• Collaborate with internal Corporate Security, DevOps, Legal, and Engineering teams to translate technical details for customers
• Create self-service security materials including whitepapers, trust portals, and architectural diagrams
• Drive revenue acceleration by systematically removing security-related deal blockers

• Enterprise security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA, PIPA, HIPAA)
• SaaS architecture, API security, encryption, and identity management (SSO, SAML, OAuth)
• Technical pre-sales or solutions consulting experience
• Data privacy and global compliance law expertise
• Project management and multi-deal prioritization
• Exceptional written and verbal communication
• Marketing technology and CDP/ESP/CRM familiarity
• Security certifications (CIPP/E, CompTIA Security+, CISA, CISSP preferred)
