Breeze Airways is seeking an Avionics & Electrical Systems Engineer to enhance aircraft operational efficiency by managing and developing avionics systems and electrical components. The role requires close collaboration across departments to ensure compliance, technical excellence, and the integration of advanced technologies on Airbus and Embraer aircraft.
What you'll do
- Review Airworthiness Directives for FAA compliance
- Evaluate avionics/electrical Service Bulletins for safety and reliability
- Serve as technical liaison for avionics issues
- Coordinate with flight operations on communication applications
- Develop technical documentation for modifications and repairs
- Provide on-site support during aircraft maintenance
What they're looking for
- 4-year degree in Engineering
- 7+ years in aircraft avionics engineering
- Knowledge of avionics systems architecture
- Technical report writing skills
- Experience with ARINC-429, -717 data bus
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements
- International travel capability
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
