About this role

BRINC seeks a Mid to Senior Level Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of drone systems for public safety applications. You'll own hardware development end-to-end, from circuit design and PCB development to testing and manufacturing, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

  • Lead full hardware development lifecycle including specifications, design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing
  • Design circuit boards, power distribution systems, and sensor integration for drone platforms
  • Collaborate with software, mechanical, perception, and manufacturing teams on system integration
  • Establish design architectures and communicate technical decisions to stakeholders
  • Perform design analysis, testing, and validation to inform product decisions
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to the electrical engineering team

  • PCB schematic capture and layout tools with best practices knowledge
  • PCBA development for embedded systems (MCU, SoC, FPGA)
  • Power regulation and delivery system design
  • Embedded interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, MIPI, DDR, PCIe)
  • UAV/UAS electronic systems design
  • Signal and power integrity analysis
  • Aerospace, robotics, or automotive electronics experience
  • FPGA development (Xilinx preferred)
