About this role
BRINC seeks a Mid to Senior Level Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of drone systems for public safety applications. You'll own hardware development end-to-end, from circuit design and PCB development to testing and manufacturing, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do
- Lead full hardware development lifecycle including specifications, design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing
- Design circuit boards, power distribution systems, and sensor integration for drone platforms
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, perception, and manufacturing teams on system integration
- Establish design architectures and communicate technical decisions to stakeholders
- Perform design analysis, testing, and validation to inform product decisions
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to the electrical engineering team
What they're looking for
- PCB schematic capture and layout tools with best practices knowledge
- PCBA development for embedded systems (MCU, SoC, FPGA)
- Power regulation and delivery system design
- Embedded interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, MIPI, DDR, PCIe)
- UAV/UAS electronic systems design
- Signal and power integrity analysis
- Aerospace, robotics, or automotive electronics experience
- FPGA development (Xilinx preferred)
