Frontend Software Engineer, LiveOps

About this role

BRINC is hiring a Senior or Principal Frontend Engineer to build a tele-operations platform that enables 911 responders to deploy drones for emergency response. You'll prototype new features with customers, develop real-time drone control interfaces, and lead modernization of the tech stack for a mission-critical public safety product.

What you'll do

• Develop real-time drone tele-operations features and cloud-based products
• Collaborate directly with public safety customers to improve UX/UI and gather feedback
• Rapidly prototype new features to validate product-market fit
• Lead migration efforts from legacy tech stack to modern architecture
• Coordinate with backend developers to ensure clean frontend-backend integration

• 5+ years frontend or fullstack development experience
• Reactive and asynchronous frontend code patterns
• Real-time data rendering and visualization
• Single page application development
• WebSockets and UDP networking (preferred)
• Data visualization libraries
• API integration and backend collaboration
• Rapid prototyping and UX iteration
