Associate Instrumentation Engineer
About this role
Associate Instrumentation Engineer responsible for creating instrumentation project deliverables, conducting site surveys, and supporting designers with new or updated process instrumentation systems. The role involves documentation, technical drawings, and field support for industrial projects.
What you'll do
- Review project requirements and develop instrumentation deliverables
- Conduct instrument site surveys and walk-downs at client facilities
- Generate as-built documentation, loop drawings, P&IDs, and DCS/PLC I/O lists
- Attend technical meetings and perform field walk-down meetings with clients
- Provide technical field support during equipment installations and turnarounds
- Search and compile client instrumentation documentation and data sheets

- ISA, API, and ASME instrumentation standards knowledge
- P&ID and loop diagram development
- Instrumentation data sheet and documentation preparation
- DCS/PLC I/O list generation
- SPIS software experience (preferred)
- Technical communication and documentation
