AI Product Engineer

About this role

Camber is seeking an AI Product Engineer to build and ship AI-powered solutions that streamline healthcare workflows. You'll own problems end-to-end, rapidly prototype AI capabilities, and help establish how AI is applied across products and internal systems at a well-funded healthtech startup.

What you'll do

• Rapidly prototype and deploy AI-powered solutions from concept to production
• Own full-stack problems independently with minimal oversight
• Integrate LLMs and AI capabilities into reliable, observable, cost-efficient workflows
• Build reusable patterns and tooling to accelerate team experimentation
• Design experiments and evaluation frameworks to measure impact and iterate quickly
• Develop backend services, APIs, and data pipelines supporting AI features

What they're looking for

• 3+ years building production backend or full-stack systems
• Strong Python proficiency for production systems
• Highly autonomous problem-solving and ownership mindset
• Experimentation design and evaluation frameworks
• Full-stack generalist capabilities across product, data, and infrastructure
• Customer empathy and product intuition
• LLM integration experience (nice to have)
• AI observability and evaluation tools familiarity (nice to have)
