AI Process Forward Deployed Engineer

About this role

Camunda is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to launch ProcessOS, a natural-language business process automation product, into enterprise production. You'll own end-to-end deployments with customers, write code across Java and React, and shape both the product and the emerging field practice from day one.

What you'll do

• Own complete deployment journey from initial process file to production workflow with measurable improvements
• Collaborate with customers across technical and business teams to drive adoption and lasting capability
• Debug integration failures, configure Camunda clusters, and build custom agents for enterprise systems
• Contribute product improvements directly—fix bugs, develop features, and create skill files based on customer needs
• Document deployment patterns and create playbooks to accelerate future customer implementations
• Train and hand off customer teams to operate independently with continuous improvement capabilities
