Engineering Leader - Infrastructure & Platform

About this role

Candid Health seeks an experienced Engineering Leader to oversee Platform and Infrastructure teams, managing three distinct areas: Production Infrastructure, Developer Infrastructure, and Data Engineering. You'll report to the Head of Engineering and partner with company leadership to drive scalability, reliability, and technical strategy for a mission-critical healthcare platform.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage three engineering teams (Production Infrastructure, Developer Infrastructure, Data Engineering) across compute, networking, data pipelines, and CI/CD systems
• Define technical strategy and architecture to support short-term and long-term business objectives in collaboration with product and leadership
• Drive planning, prioritization, and delivery of impactful results while maintaining high technical quality and reliability standards
• Mentor and develop engineers and technical leads, creating growth pathways and fostering team motivation
• Make data-driven decisions to improve platform reliability, performance, scalability, and reduce operational burden
• Recruit exceptional engineers and collaborate with leadership on cross-functional initiatives including security, compliance, and disaster recovery
