Forward Deployed Software Engineer

About this role

Candid Health seeks an experienced software engineer to join their Forward Deployed Engineering team, working directly with customers and leadership to design and implement complex technical solutions. You'll bridge technology and business strategy by architecting features, leveraging AI/ML, and delivering high-impact products while maintaining close partnerships with clients across healthcare.

What you'll do

• Design and architect technical solutions aligned with customer needs, incorporating AI/ML techniques
• Partner directly with customers, operations teams, and executives to understand requirements and build trust
• Implement features, fix critical bugs, and solve customer problems across the platform
• Communicate technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product, and engineering to ensure seamless implementation
• Provide customer feedback to product teams to enhance long-term product vision
