What you'll do
- Design, install, and test RF/SATCOM hardware across multiple frequency bands while accounting for atmospheric and propagation effects
- Conduct site surveys, antenna alignment, and establish/maintain satellite communication links using earth-terminal consoles
- Perform preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance; troubleshoot field malfunctions and apply anti-jamming techniques
- Use RF test equipment (Keysight PNA-X, FieldFox, spectrum analyzers) to measure parameters and perform non-linear analysis
- Create technical documentation including AutoCAD/Visio drawings, schematics, test reports, and as-built records
- Travel up to 15% globally to support installations, testing, and maintenance in remote environments
