About this role

Join Trengo as an AI-Driven Frontend Intern and contribute to an AI-powered customer engagement platform. You'll fix bugs, reduce tech debt, rotate across engineering teams, and leverage AI coding tools to ship faster while learning from experienced engineers in a fast-growing Dutch scale-up.

What you'll do

• Fix well-scoped frontend bugs with senior engineer review
• Tackle frontend tech debt and improvement tasks
• Rotate across engineering teams on real project deliveries
• Use AI-powered coding tools like Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate development
• Provide fresh perspective on processes and ask clarifying questions
• Collaborate with small engineering teams on feature shipping

What they're looking for

• Frontend development (Vue3, Pinia, Vite preferred)
• AI-powered coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex)
• Problem-solving with curiosity and persistence
• Clear communication and teamwork
• Computer science or software engineering background
• Bug fixing and code review practices
• Modern frontend tooling and workflows
