About this role
CarGurus seeks an IT Solutions Engineer II to design and maintain integrations connecting corporate SaaS applications and enterprise systems using platforms like Boomi and Okta Workflows. You'll build automations, troubleshoot complex integration failures, and support emerging AI tools while collaborating with senior engineers on architecture decisions.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain SaaS-to-enterprise integrations using Boomi, Okta Workflows, and similar iPaaS platforms
- Design and iterate workflow automations to reduce manual work and increase operational efficiency
- Support and optimize the SaaS stack, including enterprise AI tools like Glean and Claude
- Troubleshoot integration failures, debug scripts, and identify root causes of recurring issues
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, runbooks, and system configuration guides
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute insights on system dependencies and data flows

- Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) platforms—especially Boomi
- API development and integration (OAuth, API keys, webhooks, error handling)
- Scripting and automation across Python, JavaScript, Jira Automation, or Okta Workflows

- Technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis
