Quality Assurance Engineer II

About this role

CarGurus seeks a QA Automation Engineer II to design and maintain automated test coverage for enterprise applications, with focus on Salesforce and financial platform integrations. You'll partner with engineering and product teams to ensure enterprise systems are stable, reliable, and release-ready through comprehensive testing strategies and automation framework development.

What you'll do

• Design and execute test strategies, scenarios, and cases for enterprise applications including Salesforce, Zuora, Marketo, and NetSuite
• Perform multiple testing types including E2E, functional, exploratory, regression, and data testing to identify bugs and ensure system reliability
• Implement and optimize automation frameworks aligned with CI/CD practices for efficient delivery pipelines
• Troubleshoot test failures and quality issues across services, APIs, and application modules using systematic debugging
• Collaborate with QA engineers and software developers to plan features and improve automation framework design
• Advise developers on design, coding, and testing of enterprise software
