Founding Engineer

About this role

Join a YC-backed startup as a founding full-stack engineer to build an enterprise workflow automation platform powered by AI. You'll architect both frontend and backend systems, integrate modern AI frameworks, and work directly with enterprise customers to ship a vibe coding platform.

What you'll do

• Architect and develop full-stack systems for the AI-powered workflow automation platform
• Define technical strategy including system design, data modeling, and infrastructure choices
• Integrate AI models and build natural language to action pipelines
• Collaborate with enterprise customers to translate requirements into product solutions
• Optimize infrastructure for reliability, observability, and enterprise-scale performance
• Balance rapid shipping with building maintainable, sustainable systems

What they're looking for

• Full-stack development with TypeScript, React
• System design and distributed systems architecture
• Database design and scaling patterns
• Modern deployment tools (Vercel, Cloudflare Workers)
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions)
• AI frameworks and LLM patterns (tool calling, streaming, agentic loops)
• Production AI/LLM product experience
• LLM observability and debugging tools
